Ryerson camp needs your help! Ryerson depends on the donations and volunteer efforts of churches, communities and individuals just like you! Check out the following ways you can be a part of furthering the ministry of Ryerson Camp!

Ryerson Camp partners with City Kidz, a registered Charity working with children in downtown Hamilton, where 1 in 5 children live below the poverty line (the Canadian average is 1 in 9). City Kidz chooses children in need each year to attend a week of camping programming at no cost to their family. We call this fun filled program - Adventure Camp!

Ryerson relies on donations from our supporters to cover the cost for this exciting initiative. Your donation of $100 covers the cost for one camper. Earmark your donation Adventure Camp and help make this summer special for a special kid.

Donations to Ryerson Camp can be made year round. We accept one-time cash/ cheque donations, regular post-dated cheques and contributions through the United Church PAR program.

The PAR program supports Ryerson by ensuring a regular revenue stream throughout the year and has one of the lowest costs to the camp. You may also consider donating through a living memorial, bequest made in a will, setting up an endowment fund or giving online through Canada Helps.org a fully secured website that is a fast, safe and great way for us to receive donations online.

Financial Gifts to Ryerson Camp are acknowledged in the Annual Report and receive a charitable tax receipt for giving.

Ryerson Camp also appreciates donations from our wish list. If you have items to donate that are not on the wish list, please email us with more information as to the nature and use of the item(s), it's condition and age as well as make and/or model, etc.

Twice a year, during the spring and fall, Ryerson recruits the help of its community of supporters to help make our site look beautiful. This includes working both inside and outside, cleaning and raking leaves. Clean-up days generally run from 9am-5pm with a hot lunch served to show our thanks and appreciation.
